QEH Foundation’s Ultimate Shed Giveaway: Kids Edition

The QEH Foundation Ultimate Shed Giveaway brings together community-minded individuals in PEI’s construction, design, and building supply industry to raise funds for priority medical equipment needs at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The Ultimate Shed Project starts with the build of a backyard garden shed, but with a luxurious twist. The idea is to provide a perfect getaway right in your own backyard. This summer we are back with a brand new concept, the QEH Foundation Ultimate Shed Giveaway: Kids Edition! Proceeds from the sale of Ultimate Shed tickets will help fund the purchase of priority equipment needed in the Pediatric Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Equipment Needs

The Pediatric Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is in need of an infant isolette. An isolette is a clear plastic enclosed crib that maintains a warm environment for a new baby and isolates him or her from germs. An isolette creates an environment that can be adjusted to provide the ideal temperature, oxygen, humidity, and light to infants receiving care on Unit 5 at the QEH. The cost of this equipment is $45,000.00.

Tickets

Ultimate Shed Giveaway tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100 and can be purchased online until July 6th at 9:00am by clicking below or in person at Sherwood TIMBER MART at 167 Minna Jane Drive in Charlottetown until July 7th at 5:00pm. The draw will be held at Sherwood TIMBER MART on July 8th at 12:00pm and will be broadcasted live on the QEH Foundation Facebook page.

Ultimate Shed Giveaway Rules and Regulations

Must be at least 19 years of age and in PEI at the time of ticket purchase.

Shed delivery is free anywhere on PEI and must be arranged within 14 days of the draw date to a location that is accessible.

Acceptance of the prize grants the QEH Foundation permission to obtain at least one photograph of winner(s) with shed; and use the winners entry, name, and likeness for advertising, promotion, and trade without further compensation or remuneration unless prohibited by law.
