We have had an overwhelming response to our appeal for biliblankets for our provincial NICU at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We are pleased to tell you that donors have now funded the three biliblankets that were needed and shared many heartwarming stories about their own experiences.

We are now turning our focus to funding various positioning devices at a cost of $5,000. In the NICU, it is important to position premature babies on their back, side or on their tummy mimicking being in the womb. These devices also help decrease stress and saves energy to allow babies to sleep better which is crucial for babies’ brain development and growth.
